On Monday 23 January BraSaZouk will offer the Gladiator workouts again,
with a lot of new excercises!

The Gladiator workouts are proven to be very effective, so success guaranteed!
Circuit trainings, where you will train strength and your cardiovascular system.

Start:  Monday, 23 January
Length:  Periods of 6 weeks
Price:Euro 50,- (once a week),Euro 80,- (twice a week)

Op zaterdag 24 maart 2012 organiseert Brasazouk
twee fantastische Afrikaanse dansworkshops die gegeven zullen worden door Turid Dramé, met live percussie van
Moussé Dramé !

Over Turid:
Op jonge leeftijd begon Turid met jazzballet, maar eenmaal geproefd van de Afrikaanse dans was ze verkocht. Vanaf 1989 volgde ze lessen in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Frankrijk, België, Duitsland en Nederland van de top van West-Afrika. Turid heeft het geluk gehad te hebben kunnen trainen met dansers(essen) uit Guinee, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso en Kameroen zoals Youssouf Koumbassa, Merlin Nyakam, Marie Basse, Bebey Youla, Dioncounda Diarra, Babacar M’Baye, Malang Bayo, M’Baye N’Diaye, Ken N’Diaye, Tackou Cissokho en nog vele anderen.

Ze danste in het Ballet ‘Mame Bambe’ o.l.v. Issa Sow van 1994-1997 en was solo danseres in verschillende groepen in Nederland zoals N’Guewel Keur Gi o.l.v. Oké Sene en in de groep Foté Saba met Jeanine Theunissen, Victorien Barendrecht, Thomas Bonenkamp, Rutger van Ree en Jaco Benders.

Vanaf 1994 geeft Turid lessen en workshops aan bedrijven, scholen en dansgroepen door het hele land. Ze is gespecialiseerd in West-Afrikaanse dansen zoals de vele verschillende djembé dansen uit Guinee en Mali, de Bougarabou, Seouraba en Manotch dansen uit de Casamance (Zuid Senegal) en de Sabardans van de Wolof uit Senegal.

Turid's lessen & workshops staan bekend als dynamisch en pittig: lekker zweten en je in een Afrikaanse sfeer begeven. Een goede warming up, werken aan een bepaald ritme met bewegingen door de zaal, stuk choreografie met een lied en een stuk achtergrond van de traditie allemaal op de fantastische percussiebegeleiding van Moussé Dramé met team.

2e workshop: 17.00-18.30 u, voor intermediates & gevorderden

ZUMBA AT BRASAZOUK!

WHAT IS ZUMBA?
Zumba is the big dance/aerobic craze at the moment, and it is spreading fast worldwide! It is like no other workout you will ever experience!
Zumba is a nice aerobic en fitness training on great Latin and Brazilian music, varied with short dance combinations.
The movements are build from diverse Latin dance movements like Salsa, Merengue, Samba, Cumbia, Reggaeton and more!
No difficult choreographies, and you don’t need a dance partner! Zumba is for everybody: young and old! Don’t miss it!
